Trainwest 2019

Monkton Park School T-Trak Club were invited to bring their T-Trak layout to Bentley Model Railway Group's Trainwest show, again as the hands-on layout for visitors to try driving model trains. We added a small station module after the Calne show, allowing three trains to run with increasing challenge for the drivers:
- A DC controlled, two coach steam-hauled train to try to stop at the station platform on its own circuit.
- A DCC controlled DMU on the main circuit, now having to look out for the working signals as well as stop at the station platform.
- A DCC controlled steam-hauled express, looking out for signals and having to obey a speed restriction round the reverse loops at the ends of the layout.
Iād like to offer this up as the longest T-Trak layout assembled in Great Britain and possibly š¬š§ the UK at this time: 2x end caps, 2x corners, 2x junctions, 11x singles and 3x doubles plus four Unitrack viaduct curves. Not a patch on the T-Trak layouts assembled elsewhere in the world, but with not much T-Trak happening in Great Britain then it is at least a start!
