Description: This module is my first attempt at a 3D-printed module base. I decided CAD design and 3D printing would help me get the precision I wanted for curved 45-degree modules. The design was printed on a printer with a 240mm x 240mm bed, so the module has a “bite” missing from one corner. For this prototype, I wanted to see how much module I could print. The scenic inspiration is an embankment on the Somerset & Dorset Railway, but the module’s R315/R282 curves are a bit tight for posing trains on for photos.
