If you are new to wikis you may be relunctant to change a page created by someone else. But consider this the following:
Assume you created a page yourself and in your hurry you made a few typos. A fresh pair of eyes is likely to catch these. Do you really want to get an e-mail or private message telling you what to fix? Probably not. That's a waste of time and energy.
If someone sees a small mistake they can just fix it and move on. The wiki will be slightly improved with minimal delay.
You can always review the history of changes to any page and set things back if something was done in error.
I've had people fix MY typos already on this wiki. And I appreciate they care and took the time to do it.
