Bill's Adjustable Feet

Modified T-Trak Module Height Adjusting Screws.
By Bill M.

This is one Idea I've been working for a while that I'd like to share with everyone interested in T-TRAK.

I went out and bought a box of fender washers with a 1-1/4" outside diameter and a 3/16" diameter hole. I threaded the hole with a 1/4-20 NC Tap. This assured a concentric location of the washer with the 1/4-20 height adjusting screw. I then tighten the washer with a 1/4-20 Jam Nut to the height adjusting screw. Jam nuts are thinner in height than normal nuts. Since I have a lathe at home I knurled the edges of the washer but any method that assures a good grip will work.

Apply graphite to the T-Nuts and you will discover how nicely the height adjusting screws spin. You can now leave your adjusting wrenches at home as every screw has it own tool on it. I even ground a screw slot on the tip of my screws in case I wanted to adjust the height from the top of the module.
