Candleston Castle - Quad

Description:This Quad unit features a castle ruins under which the branch line passes, while the dual main line has been cut through the landscape. There is a farm one end with the dirt road clinging to the side of the hill, and a field at the other end.
The branch line runs through a tunnel under the Castle, coming out at what use to be a junction to a Welsh coal line up the valley. One can just see the remains of the now disused tracks. (There are no plans at present to reopen this old line.)
This module is a standard Quad = 1238mm x 300mm
