About Me or What I Like Most About T-Trak

I have been involved with N Scale for a long time (not as long as some) but N Scale has always been my choice of scales. I have had different layouts over the years, mostly what some would call traditional layouts ranging from hollow core doors to starting on an around the room project. We moved and down sized and that plan was scrapped.

I was not involved with anything for a long time and then in 2017 the “itch” resurfaced. Around September I started thinking about the direction I wanted to follow. I came across Thomas Tuerke’s article in the October 2014 issue of Model Railroad Hobbyist magazine and was intrigued. I started working on plans using AnyRail. I went through many revisions and almost felt like I was going to end up as a so called “armchair” modeler.

In December 2017 I attended the Pensacola Model Railroad Club’s Trainfest where I met some members of some local clubs and after talking with them and seeing their display it only solidified my choice of what route to pursue and that route was T-Trak. Now that I have my first two modules to work on I am looking forward to the future.
