No special wiring is required if you use standard wiring practices, (BWWB) on the other modules…

IF you don't have any crossovers on the other modules.

If you've got crossovers, then yes, to use them you will need to have some kind of electrical reversing section. If you use DC (I do…) thn gap the throat of the loop and put an auto-reverser into the track power feed of the loop itself.

If you have two loops (making a dogbone style layout) you will need a reversing unit in each loop. There are other ways to do it, but one reverser per loop is the easiest and most simple way to guarantee you won't be without it when you need it.

Wiring loops by BARR_ceoBARR_ceo, 21 Apr 2021 22:24

Is there any wiring considerations that need to be addressed for the Loops? Thanks

I don't know if others do this to their corner blocks, but I like to adjust the height of my modules from the top corners of the module. I use 2 1/2" 1/4-20 carriage bolts and slot the tops of them for a screwdriver adjustment. I also set the "T' nut up inside the block as shown in the cross-section picture shown - well that isn't going to work, can't figure out how to get an image from my picture files.

Looking for folks in the Belton - Temple area (Bell County) of Texas interested in starting a t-track club. I have four corners and several straight modules. Email me at ed dot mcginley at yahoo dot com. No offense to the Austin guys but it's just to far in time with I-35 all screwed up.

Good catch! That's fixed now.

EtA: I'm in the process of editing the loops with #4 turnouts to correct them now.
EtA2: Done!

Chief,

I like the ideas here.

The dimensions of the offset balloon look like centimeters vs millimeters.

Thanks,

Tim and his son did a wonderful job in creating this Module. It is an instant hit for Young and Old that come to our Shows.

Bill's modules have some wonderful animations on them. I believe this one has a welder working NON-stop when there are train shows.

Q: What is the purpose of the #60 holes in the ends of the module?
A: According to Bob, pilot holes for nails. The sides are glued but the nails help to hold the sides in place until the glue dries. Bob said he uses 2-3 track nails per side.
