High Speed Line
Built By: Torsten K
Description: A very narrow module specifically to focus on the line itself. It uses Kato's recent slab track pieces, which, together with some ballast, nicely approximate modern german high speed rail lines. The overhead line equipment is by Viessman and in this case non-functional. It ends inside the tunnels, so there's no need to deal with connections to neighbouring modules. The tunnel entrances are by Faller, with black carton painted concrete gray on the outside forming the tunnel tube. The noise barrier is custom built from polystyrene strips and sheets with grooves.
