Description: This is a large modular layout with T-TRAK modules that match the Standards and modules that are non-Standard that Interconnect with T-TRAK modules.
The final layout will be around 3 metres by 1 metres comprising 8 individual modules. There will be a Mountain Line, Branch Line including a section of Rack-rail and a Fishing Line. At present the layout is only a plan but I hope to start building in early-2013. I hope to show the stages as the plans have developed to where they are now.
Note that all dimensions are in Metric. In most cases the Elevations will be shown within a box and be in cm (centimetres) while any other dimensions will not be boxed and will be in mm (Millimetres).

Note: After many talks on the Tomix Forum and other forums I have decided to stick with the Tomix Mini-turnouts as my Branchline standard. Firstly it makes sense as I have 5 pairs of them already so I have them on hand. Secondly they give me nice tight yards and run around lines.
I know there are presently problems with running my Fleischmann 7305 cog locos through them (flange eights are higher than clearances on the Tomix turnouts) but I have an engineer friend with a lathe and together we will cut the flanges down till they are safe to travel through the turnouts - less than 0.6mm. Nobody expects any problems with the operation of the locos once the flanges are cut down, they should still navigate turnouts just fine so long as we work carefully and keep to the wheel profile required.
