About Me or What I Like Most About T-Trak

I have been into trains and model trains since I was a little kid. My love of trains started real young when my parents would put my brother and I on the Santa Fe from LA to Solano beach. Then to top it off, my aunt and uncle lived right across the highway (101 was a 2 lane road) and we could set on her front porch and watch trains go by….

Started out with Marx and eventually had a large American Flyer collection. Once I got out of the service, I discovered N Gauge and have been in N scale for about 50 years.

If you are ever in the Los Angeles area, visit Traveltown. They have a museum there, and inside they have a large N scale layout. I was one of the founding members of the group, and just as we got everything running, work took me to another part of the country and I had to leave. That was 40+ years ago, but East Valley Lines is still alive and well.

I like T-Trak because of the variety and creativity of the modules, plus the social interaction with model railroading and railroaders.
