Module Construction Methods
Keep in mind there are other methods to build a module that meet the proper interconnection standards (i.e. track height). Several of these are covered in the Unofficial T-Trak Handbook such as the "Module on a plank" method.
The following methods require different tools and materials and have their advantages and disadvantages, however, the most important thing to know is that there is no standard method for module construction.
- Typical Method - Quarter Inch Material
- Building Modules with 1x3s
- Open Framework
- Foam
- Foam Board
- Gatorboard (foamcore)
- Corrugated Cardboard
- Cuties - Clementine Crate
- Masterpiece Modules
- CMR Products
- Red River Models
- T-Kits.com - This company closed in July 2018 with the passing of its owner Terry Nathan
If you know of another construction method please feel free to document it here.
