MPTT's Snow Modules (5)

Description: Inspired by a photo on the cover of a magazine, the club members built five snowy landscape modules ahead of the 2022 Monkton Park School Christmas Fair.

The modules are standard singles built from OSB, with the landscape formed from expanded polystyrene (recycled packaging) cut with a hot wire cutter. We used Sculptamold to profile the landscape with a coat of Woodland Scenics Flex Paste to give a smoother, thick snow appearance. We sprinkled on snow scatter, added fence posts (it's a British scene, after all), and made some simple bare trees from stranded copper wire offcuts. A few figures added some colour to our otherwise monochrome scene.
