Description:
Frampton was a station in the middle of nowhere, on the double track mainline between Sydney and Melbourne just south of Cootamundra. It was built in the late 19th century to serve the local rural community, and closed in 1975. Little evidence of its existence still remains today. I've modelled it as it may have looked just prior to being closed, in the late 60s or early 70s.
This module was originally built by Aaron H from Japan Rail Modellers, and featured a Japanese shrine. Several years ago, he removed the structures from it and gave it to me. As it was, it had track and basic landscaping, and I used it mainly for photography.
