Wandering Creek
Built By: Steve J
Description: This is one of the first modules that I built and it is intended to be used with my other two corners. In fact, this module and the other two corners (Jurassic Corner and Whistle Stop) pack up together for transport.
The module is a 180 degree end turn which features a large ridge which the trains pass through and a creek which passes under the tracks. The ridge was made from stacked pink foam which I painted and then covered in foliage. Using a technique that Matt Schaefer showed me, I carved the rock directly into the foam and painted it.
The frame for this module is 1" x 3" pine with a 1/4" luan plywood top.
