++About Me or What I Like Most About T-Trak
My Story, I have had “a love affair with trains" for most of my life.
It started with the O-Scale trains in my Great Uncle's Garage, then having some HO trains of my own, and finally I am running mainly N-Scale (Oh yes, I do chase the 12" to the foot scale models).
1999, I was involved with a local N-Trak club here in Oklahoma. I reworked plenty of their club modules, however, had never built my own module. It seems too big for my house and way too intimidating to start the process.
In 2001, I was introduced to the T-Trak system at the National Train Convention in St. Louis Missouri. Thank you Lee Monaco-Fitzgerald for bringing your modules to that show. Then in 2005, Mr. Mike Moore and Mr. David Halloran brought 2 tables worth of T-Trak modules to the Oklahoma City Train Show. Both Mike and David, show me and a couple of friends, what to do next. I guess, I was in the right place at the right time and hooked on T-Trak.
Viewing all their layouts, and thinking to myself, "I can do this". Today, I now have over a dozen T-Trak modules (which is also my home layout).
A group of rail fans (including myself) defected from that large N-Trak group in 2007 to form a fun spirited club in which our only focus is on the T-Trak system and to ENJOY the hobby!
I am so happy to be involved in the hobby and that I can run trains any time, at home or at train shows
(only if my wife allows me too - ha ha).
