This model was built loosely on a place at Lake Bistineau, in North Louisiana. As a child my dad would take me to a place we called Parish Camp. There was a half rotted pier for fishing, boat ramp, and swimming area. I remember ropes hanging from the tall Cypress trees that people would swing from and land in the water. It was very popular redneck hang out.
